2025 NFL mock draft: Two QBs go Top 3 in latest first-round projections

The 2025 NFL Draft is less than a month away, and every team in the league is looking to improve their chances of competing for a Super Bowl title.Free agency is well underway, and despite most of the top talent already being signed, a few players are still out there looking for homes.
Without knowing where they are going to go at this point, now is the time to start focusing on the draft as the main way to improve. In the first round, there is a lot of intrigue.
How many quarterbacks will go in the Top 10? Will Travis Hunter go to a team that is willing to let him play on both sides of the football? Which teams will build through the trenches? A lot needs to be resolved.
With that in mind, here are our latest first-round projections:1.
Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, MiamiThe Tennessee Titans are taking a quarterback first overall, and it certainly looks like Cam Ward is their guy.2.
Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn StateWith Ward off the board, the Cleveland Browns take Abdul Carter, the best player in the draft.
The Penn State edge rusher is going to make its mark on the league quickly.3.
New York Giants: Shedeur Sanders, QB, ColoradoThe New York Giants signed Jameis Winston, but that doesn't stop them from taking Shedeur Sanders as their hopeful franchise quarterback.4.
New England Patriots: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, ColoradoWill the New England Patriots use Travis Hunter as a two-way player? We'll find out after they select him fourth overall.
5.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL, MichiganThe Jacksonville Jaguars select defensive tackle Mason Graham, who could be one of the best players in the draft, at fifth overall.6.

Carolina Panthers: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn StateThe Carolina Panthers add another weapon for quarterback Bryce Young with Penn State tight end Tyler Warren.9.

They need a lot of help to become a good team again.10.
Chicago Bears: Jalon Walker, EDGE, GeorgiaThe Chicago Bears select Jalon Walker 10th overall.
After overhauling their offensive line this offseason through trades and free agency, drafting an edge rusher makes sense.11.
San Francisco 49ers: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise StateWas 2024 just an unlucky year for the San Francisco 49ers? We'll find out when they add a weapon in Ashton Jeanty at 11th overall.12.
Dallas Cowboys: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan, The Dallas Cowboys are farther away than some think.
Drafting Will Johnson will help their secondary.13.
Miami Dolphins: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, TexasThe Miami Dolphins have a lot invested in Tua Tagovailoa.
Protecting him should be a top priority, and Kelvin Banks Jr.
will help with that.14.
Indianapolis Colts: Nick Emmanwori, S, South CarolinaThe Indianapolis Colts select Nick Emmanwori to help them in the secondary.15.
Atlanta Falcons: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&MThe Atlanta Falcons have spent a lot of money and draft capital on offense lately.
Now, they address their pass rush by selecting Shemar Stewart.16.
Arizona Cardinals: Jihaad Campbell, LB AlabamaThe Arizona Cardinals add a linebacker to improve their defense in Alabama's Jihaad Campbell.17.
Cincinnati Bengals: Mykel Williams, EDGE, GeorgiaThe Cincinnati Bengals must get their defense to match the offense that Joe Burrow leads.
Mykel Williams could be a disruptive pass rusher.18.
Seattle Seahawks: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio StateThe Seattle Seahawks turn to Josh Simmons as they continue to build their offensive line.19.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Omarion Hampton, RB, North CarolinaThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers could use some help in the backfield, and Omarion Hampton could be that guy for them as the second running back selected in the first round.20.
Denver Broncos: Mike Green, EDGE, MarshallThe Denver Broncos select Mike Green to help them with their pass rush.21.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenneth Grant, DL, MichiganThe Pittsburgh Steelers improve their defensive line by selecting Kenneth Grant.22.

A tight end like Colston Loveland would bring a great weapon to town.23.
Green Bay Packers: Jahdae Barron, CB, TexasThe Green Bay Packers never add skilled offensive players in the first round unless they are franchise QBs.
That won't change with cornerback Jahdae Barron being the pick.24.
Minnesota Vikings: Matthew Golden, WR, TexasThe Minnesota Vikings are great at drafting and developing wide receivers.
Pairing Matthew Golden with Justin Jefferson would be a huge win for quarterback JJ McCarthy.25.
Houston Texans: Tyler Booker, G, AlabamaAdding a good offensive lineman like Tyler Booker could help the Houston Texans take that next step, especially after trading away their best offensive lineman in Laremy Tunsil this offseason.26.
Los Angeles Rams: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, OregonThe Los Angeles Rams shore up their offensive line with Josh Conerly Jr.
With the right moves, this team could be a sleeper for the NFC championship.27.
Baltimore Ravens: Malaki Starks, S, GeorgiaThe Baltimore Ravens need help in their secondary more than any elite team needs help with a specific unit.
They address that issue with Malaki Starks.28.
Detroit Lions: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, TennesseeAidan Hutchinson is coming off an injury, and pairing him with James Pearce could give this Detroit Lions pass rush a spark.29.
Washington Commanders: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota StateThe Washington Commanders need help on the offensive line for Jayden Daniels, and Grey Zabel could be someone that helps them take a step.30.
Buffalo Bills: Walter Nolen, DL, Ole MissThe Buffalo Bills could use some help on the defensive line, and drafting Walter Nolen may be a way for them to be stronger on that side of the ball.
This team is pushing "Super Bowl caliber" and anything positive could help them get there.31.
Kansas City Chiefs: Aireontae Ersery, OT, MinnesotaThe Kansas City Chiefs have won three Super Bowls in the last four years, but they are no longer drafting with the ability to take risks.
They must address their offensive line, and Aireontae Ersery can help them.32.
Philadelphia Eagles: Derrick Harmon, DL, OregonThe Philadelphia Eagles select Derrick Harmon to help improve their defensive line.
The defending Super Bowl champions could get even stronger here. This article originally appeared on Bears Wire: 2025 NFL mock draft: QBs go Top 3 in latest first-round projections.
