Connor Rogers of NBC Sports put together version 3.0 of his 2025 NFL mock draft, which was a three-rounder.

So who did the Jacksonville Jaguars come away with?Let's break down those selections with our instant reactions to each pick.Pick 5: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, ColoradoAs I wrote about recently, this is becoming a more popular pick for the Jaguars, and the path for this to actually happen come April does seem to be taking shape.Whether on offense or defense, Hunter's ball skills are excellent.

He caught 79% of his 121 targets as a receiver last season while he allowed a completion rate of 56% at cornerback with four interceptions and seven pass breakups.Pick 36: Xavier Watts, S, Notre DameEven with the addition of Eric Murray in free agency, that shouldn't stop the Jaguars from adding to this room.

For one, the draft is about planning ahead, but competition for that second safety role would be a good thing.Watts played all over the secondary at Notre Dame.

In 2024, he recorded six pressures, made 52 of his 63 tackle attempts, and allowed a completion rate of 54% at 10.4 yards per catch with five interceptions and three interceptions.Pick 70: Shemar Turner, DL, Texas A&MThis is a big need for the Jaguars and one that GM James Gladstone may be planning to attack heavily in the draft.

So will it take until Round 3 to address the defensive front?Turner has had steady production, averaging 26 pressures per year over the last three seasons.

By PFF's metrics, he's graded out as an above-average run defender.

Rogers wrote that Turner would "bring some nastiness" to the Jaguars' defensive line.Pick 88: RJ Harvey, RB, UCFWith only three running backs on the roster and this year's draft class being very deep, you can assume that a running back selection will be made.

Harvey has been a big play threat, averaging 6.6 yards per rush over the last three seasons.

He's also been a factor in the passing game, which will be an important element for the running back position in Liam Coen's offense, totaling 78 targets in three seasons. This article originally appeared on Jaguars Wire: Jaguars NFL draft: Breaking down picks in latest 3-round mock.
