Rumors: What The Bucks Are Looking to Trade for Amid Poor Start to 2024-25 Season

Its hard to be a Milwaukee Bucks fan and be happy with the teams overall performance so far in the 2024-25 NBA regular season.
While they have a superstar duo of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks record suggests otherwise.
Despite having some success of late with back-to-back wins over the Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons , Milwaukee is still way below .500 with a 4-8 slate.
The trade deadline is still months away but could Milwaukee make a trade to address the teams issues before things get potentially worse for the team? In a recent ESPN article , Jamal Collier echoed fellow ESPN writer Kevin Pelton about what could be next for Milwaukee.
The Bucks are searching for ways to help their star duo in Antetokounmpo and Lillard, especially on the defensive end.
As Pelton mentioned, Milwaukee hopes its 3-point shooting will start to rebound, but the Bucks have expressed interest in a defensive wing to add some athleticism to the mix.
The Bucks are getting outrun in transition, an area they have struggled in for the past two seasons, and teams are targeting their point-of-attack defense.
They have been looking for ways to remedy those two weaknesses.
Jamal Collier The Milwaukee Bucks have at least 2 major issues Indeed, 3-point efficiency and defense have been areas of concern for the Bucks, thus far.
They are just 17th in the league with 113.5 points allowed per game and 16th with a defensive 53.8 effective field goal percentage.
Meanwhile, they are shooting only 35.3 percent from behind the arc, which is only 17th in the NBA overall.
Milwaukee can still fix those issues, especially since the season isnt even a month old yet, but those have to manifest sooner rather than later if the Bucks are to win at a more consistent rate.
