Aaron Judge can't catch a break as Greg Olsen brings up World Series blunder on NFL broadcast

A mundane NFL game between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons in mid-November typically wouldn't seem like a space to rehash New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's critical World Series drop .
Saints running back Alvin Kamara dropped a pass while left uncovered on a wheel route late in the fourth quarter on Sunday that would have sealed the victory.
Commentator Greg Olsen couldn't help but shoehorn in an analogy to Judge's blunder.
"That's Aaron Judge dropping the ball in the fifth inning of the World Series," Olsen remarked.
"There's really just no explanation [for] one of the best players of this era." Perhaps Olsen's mind was on baseball because of the man sitting next to him in the broadcast booth: MLB on Fox play-by-play man Joe Davis.

Ace Gerrit Cole allowed the leadoff runner to reach before Tommy Edman stepped to the plate.
Judge inexplicitly dropped Edman's weak line drive to center to put two men on base.
Shortstop Anthony Volpe committed an error on the next play to load the bases.
Cole would strike out the next two Dodgers hitters before failing to cover on a ground ball to first base, allowing a run to score.
Freddie Freeman then laced a two-run single, and Teoscar Hernandez followed with a two-run double as the New York lead evaporated.

Quarterback Derek Carr lobbed a pass to Kamara on a third down with the Saints up 20-17 and under two minutes left on the clock.
Kamara was ultimately bailed out by a struggling Saints defense.

Interim head coach Darren Rizzi earned his first career win and was gleeful for his star's record.
Any time you use the phrase, all time,' it's a big deal," he said of the record.
Kamara was equally praiseworthy of Rizzi, claiming the interim head coach " came in and he had a clear message.
Unity was one of the words of the week.
When youre united, you all believe, and youre all together, man, theres so much you can do.
Rizzi and Kamara will look to build on Sunday's performance when they take host the 2-7 Cleveland Browns next Sunday.
Judge and the Yankees will have to wait until next March to amend for their Game Five miscues..
