The Miami Marlins have decided on their new manager to replace Skip Schumaker, according to a report.

The Marlins plan to hire Dodgers first base coach Clayton McCullough as their new manager, according to Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.

McCullough had spent the last four seasons on the Dodgers staff with Dave Roberts.

The 44-year-old also received a look from the Chicago White Sox, and has been viewed as a potential manager for some time now.

The San Francisco Giants even gave him some consideration back in 2019, when McCullough was still just a field coordinator in the Dodger organization.

McCullough has a tough job ahead of him, as the Marlins cut costs last year and wound up losing 100 games.

Things dont necessarily look better for them in 2025, suggesting a pretty significant rebuild is ahead of them.
