Week 10 NFL Picks: Detroit, Houston take Sunday night stage

The trade deadline arrived Tuesday and multiple playoff contenders, led by Detroit, Baltimore and Pittsburgh, made moves.
Last month, it was Buffalo and Kansas City who started planning ahead.
The rosters mostly set save for injured players, the NFL begins the second half of its schedule this week.
On to the Week 10 selections: Houston Texans quarterback C.J.
Stroud is pursued by Buffalo Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau in Week 5.
The Texans host Detroit on Sunday night.
Game of the week Detroit at Houston NBC flexed the Sunday night games last week (Indianapolis-Minnesota replaced Jacksonville-Philadelphia) and next week (Cincinnati-Los Angeles Chargers will replace Indianapolis-New York Jets), but are rewarded with the best game of Week 10.
The Lions (7-1) are rolling with a six-game win streak, including four on the road.
Detroit leads the league in points per game (32.4).
The Texans are 6-3, but scuffling they have cracked 24 points only twice and have scored only 22, 23 and 13 in their last three games.
Houston will win the AFC South, but it isnt inviting confidence about winning in the playoffs.
Lions 30-21.
Season: 4-5.
Lock of the week N.Y.
Jets at Arizona Dont look now, but the 3-6 Jets are plotting a second-half-of-the-season surge after beating Houston in Week 9.
The schedule, if the Jets are actually functional, is manageable ...
after this week.
The 5-4 Cardinals are second in yards per rush (5.3) and running back James Conner is sixth in the league with 664 yards.
Arizona has a half-game lead over the Rams and San Francisco in the NFC West.
The Jets next five after Sunday are vs.
Indianapolis and Seattle, at Miami and Jacksonville and vs.
the Los Angeles Rams.
But they wont win Sunday.
Cardinals 27-19.
Season: 5-4.
Upset of the week Pittsburgh at Washington The Steelers, off their bye, are a 212-point road favorite and the Commanders home stadium will be filled with Pittsburgh fans.
The Steelers defense ranks second in fewest points allowed average at 14.9 and the Washington offense is third in scoring (29.2).
Quarterback Russell Wilson is 2-0 since taking over in Pittsburgh (three touchdowns and no interceptions) and goes against rookie Jayden Daniels, who has a 106.7 passer rating.
T.J.
Watt ruins the Commanders game plan.
Steelers 31-24.
Season: 3-6.
