The Miami Heat put themselves back over .500 with Saturdays 20-point victory against the Washington Wizards in this seasons NBA Mexico City Game.

Along with the blowout dub, the Heat celebrated head coach Erik Spoelstras 54th birthday, saw Bam Adebayo enjoy his best all-around performance of the young season and let Mexico fans enjoy the presence of second-year forward Jaime Jaquez Jr.
, who is of Mexican descent and who nearly had a double-double on Saturday (eight points, 10 rebounds in 25 minutes).

Adebayos third double-double of the season gives him 194 for his career, inching him closer to joining Rony Seikaly (221) and Alonzo Mourning (205) as the only players in team history with 200 such games.
He also moonlights very well as a cameraman for his head coach, who continues enjoying a distinguished tenure with the Heat.
Spoelstras 753 regular-season wins nearly match all other Miami coaches combined (782).

A few months ago, Adebayo earned his second career Olympic gold medal during the 2024 Summer Games.
During a special halftime ceremony Tuesday, the Heat will raise a banner to the rafters of the Kaseya Center for his performance.
His Heat teammate Nikola Jovic will receive a video tribute for winning bronze with Serbia in France.
Adebayo averaged six points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 53.3 percent in the 2024 Summer Games, which he entered as one of five players in Heat history with an Olympic gold medal (Mourning, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James , Tim Hardaway).
The 27-year-old Adebayo is the first player franchise history with multiple Olympic golds.
