The Philadelphia Phillies have more talent than most Major League Baseball teams out there but failed to make a deep playoff run.

Philadelphia won 95 games in the regular season but was knocked out of the playoffs early by the New York Mets.

The Phillies will enter the 2025 season with most of the roster still intact but need to add more pop to the outfield.

Because of this, FOX Sports' Rowan Kavner mentioned Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star slugger Teoscar Hernandez as a possible fit in free agency .

"Hernandez never got the long-term offer last offseason that he expected after a down year in Seattle, so he decided to reset his market on a one-year flier in Los Angeles," Kavner said.

"The move is about to reward the Home Run Derby champ handsomely, whether it's back in L.A., where he rebounded in an All-Star season as a key cog for the champs, or elsewhere.

"Considering what an additive presence he was to the Dodgers both on and off the field, and how much he enjoyed the winning environment, a return makes a lot of sense.

Possible fits: Dodgers, Phillies, (Kansas City Royals), (Atlanta Braves), (Boston Red Sox)." Hernandez had 33 home runs and 99 RBIs in 2024 with the Dodgers and now is predicted to get a $71 million deal over three years this winter.

That is something that the Phillies could afford and at least should look into.

This is a great suggestion that isn't far from making a run to the World Series.
