Panathinaikos, who were second in the Euroleague this past season with a record of 23-11, won the Euroleague against Real Madrid, and featured former NBA players such as Kendrick Nunn and Jerian Grant.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver has mentioned setting up a tournament between the two leagues, so one day the two champions may be able to settle the debate, once and for all.
