Central Women’s Basketball Team Opens Its Season at Iowa State

The Central College womens basketball team started its season in an exhibition match against NCAA Division I #8 Iowa State University and lost 105-53.

CeCe Moore led the Dutch in the contest with 11 points while also grabbing 8 rebounds.

Abby Johnson added 10 points in the loss, while Bailey Reding scored eight points off the bench for Central.

Also off the bench, Jasmyn Williams led the team with six assists while having zero turnovers.

The Dutch shot 30% from the field, 34.6% from three-point range, and 8-10 from the free throw line.

Central starts their regular season on November 8th, hosting St.

Olaf (Minn.) in P.H.
