Vikings land new starting left tackle in trade with Jaguars. Here's what Minnesota is getting | Sporting News

The Minnesota Vikings have found their solution for star left tackle Christian Darrisaws season-ending injury, acquiring Cam Robinson in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday evening.
Full trade details are yet to be announced, but the Vikings are sending draft compensation to Jacksonville, according to Rapoport.
Minnesota entered the week with only three draft selections remaining in 2025.
Robinson always made sense as potential target for the Vikings.
Hes scheduled to become a free agent at the end of 2024, currently in the final year of a three-year, $54 million contract.
Hes been a solid player for the Jaguars , but the team is more likely to reset at the position than to re-up Robinson at north of $20 million per season.
It remains to be seen how much of his remaining salary, if any, the Jaguars were willing to eat in the deal.
For the Vikings, Robinson is a clear upgrade over David Quessenberry as the team prepares for a playoff run..
