NFL Rumors: Anthony Richardson Benched by Colts; Joe Flacco to Start vs. Vikings

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been benched in favor of Joe Flacco ahead of Sunday's road game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Adam Schefter.

Flacco previously started two games when Richardson was sidelined by an oblique injury in Weeks 5 and 6.

He also stepped in for one snap during Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans when Richardson briefly left the game after a hit.

Richardson struggled in the Week 8 loss as he went 10-of-32 for 175 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

He has passed for four touchdowns and thrown seven picks through six games of his second NFL season.
