The Los Angeles Lakers could be in the business of reuniting with a scoring guard currently playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

Its no secret that the Lakers are hunting for offense on the trade market.

Los Angeles GM Rob Pelinka is likely open to the idea of adding a combo guard with a digestible salary attached to them someone like Tre Mann or Coby White would be a perfect fit alongside LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves.

Another name to watch in connection with Los Angeles is 31-year-old Nets guard Dennis Schroder, a former No.

17 overall pick of the Atlanta Hawks (2013 NBA draft).

Schroders familiarity with James and Anthony is unquestioned, as hes already spent two different stints with this Lakers core during the 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons.

Could a third stint in Los Angeles be in the cards for Schroder? Hes certainly looking like the kind of instant offense lately that the Lakers need.

Schroder dropped 29 points on the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night on 5-for-8 from three in the Nets upset win.

Schroder also dished out six dimes and pulled down four rebounds in the all-around performance.

The Lakers dont have players with matching salaries that would entice the Nets to part ways with Schroders expiring contract, but Los Angeles could easily throw in some draft capital to get conversations flowing with the rebuilding Nets.

Perhaps a second-round pick or two attached to Gabe Vincent and Christian Wood would be enough for Brooklyn to send Schroder back to Los Angeles.
