National media outlet makes insulting bowl game prediction for the Tennessee Vols

I think it's safe to say that CBS Sports' Jerry Palm isn't a big fan of the Tennessee Vols.

Palm revealed his updated bowl game projections after this past weekend's slate of college football games wrapped up and his prediction for Tennessee is a bit of an insult to the program.

Despite the fact that Tennessee is 6-1 with a win against Alabama, Palm has the Vols playing SMU in the Gator Bowl on January 2.

If that's not bad enough, Palm actually has Alabama, which is 6-2 this season, as the No.

10 seed in his College Football Playoff projections.

In case you forgot -- because apparently Jerry Palm forgot -- Alabama lost to Tennessee less than two weeks ago.

The Crimson Tide also lost to unranked Vanderbilt earlier this season.

It's laughable, right? There's just no way that anyone can justify putting Alabama with two losses (again, including the head to head loss against the Vols) above Tennessee.

This is clearly Palm, for whatever reason, taking a shot at the Vols.
