After a strong start to the season, the Warriors will have to adjust to life without Stephen Curry for a few games.

During Golden State's loss to LA in its home opener, Curry suffered an apparent ankle injury that caused him to briefly exit the game.

Shortly after returning to the floor, Curry aggravated the injury and exited for good.

He will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity.

He first suffered the injury in the third quarter when planting his foot to run around screens.

Curry aggravated the injury early in the fourth quarter when he attempted to set a back screen for teammate Moses Moody.

His ankle issues have subsided greatly since he began playing in ankle braces, but the protective gear could not prevent his issue against the Clippers.

He exited Sunday's game with 18 points (on 6-of-11 shooting), six assists, four rebounds, two steals and six turnovers in 27 minutes.
