Mark Cuban has already commented that he thinks Klay Thompson was ready for a move from the Golden State Warriors, and the feeling is that it was the right time for the sharpshooters to start a new beginning.
With Thompsons departure, Draymond Green feels like there is a stain for his former teammate on all of the things they accomplished during their four-championship run.
Right now, I am totally honest with you; I think there is a stain on it for him.
Klay hasnt said there is a stain on it; it is just how I feel a little in my gut.

Thompson dealt with injuries during the later stages of his time with the Warriors, and despite all the accolades, he felt under appreciated by the end.

In his Mavericks debut, he scored 22 points while shooting 60 percent from three.
Dallas is 1-0 and is looking to make a second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals.
Green wants the best for Thompson and thinks that if he finds success with his new team, he will be able to put the difficult ending to rest.
At that point, he would be able to look back on his time in Golden State and appreciate all that they achieved.
I feel like if he goes to Dallas and plays great, then he can be like, alright, that is cool, I am cool now; he is just so competitive.
I want that for him, said Green .
