Thursday Night Football: Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Rams Live Thread & Game Information

Week eight of the 2024 NFL season kicks off this evening with a game many would have assumed would have been a better matchup at the beginning of the season.
The Minnesota Vikings , the away team this evening, come into this game with a solid 5 and 1 record.
The Vikings' only blemish to their record came last weekend in a narrow loss to the Detroit Lions , 31 to 29.
On the other hand, the hosting Los Angeles Rams have underwhelmed this season.
A team that, during the pre-season, was picked to be one of the better teams in the NFC has a woeful 2 and 4 record thus far and sits in 4th place in the NFC West.
The Rams are coming off a win last week over another lousy team, the Las Vegas Raiders , 20 to 15.

My Pick: The Vikings to cover.
The Vikings are clearly the better of the two teams coming into week eight.
Minnesota is better in nearly every offensive and defensive statistic than the Rams.
The Vikings are averaging 11 points more per game while also giving up almost 8 points less on average per game.
The Vikings also lead the league in interceptions with 11, are 2nd in the NFL in yards given up on the ground with an average of only 80 ypg, and are 3rd in sack with 23.
The Rams are at home, but I dont see the Vikings not covering a line that is less than a field goal margin..
