Virginia Responds to Tony Bennett's Abrupt Retirement

The college basketball world was stunned on Thursday afternoon when longtime Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball head coach Tony Bennett abruptly announced his retirement, leaving the team without a head coach.
Bennett had been Virginia's head coach since 2009, as he helped the program reemerge as one of the best in the nation, while also leading them to an NCAA Championship in 2019.
