Man, it has been a remarkable season thus far! Miami has been doing great things in chunks, and we wanted to take a look at a few measurables on the offensive side of the ball here: College Football Team Passing Stats 2024 Team - 165/234 70.5% 2400 yds 21 tds 5 ints Ward - 148/214 69.22% 2,219 yds 20 tds 5 ints Cam Ward has been known for impressive performances as a standout QB since transferring to Washington State from Incarnate Word.
He has carried on that success at Miami, and its been interesting to see how hes adapted to the Hurricanes offensive scheme.
Miami has a rich quarterback history, and having a true dual-threat quarterback like Ward has elevated the offense significantly.
His ability to make plays with both his arm and legs have been an incredible asset for the team.
He is on track to shatter team records, and is garnering tremendous accolades across the country.
Among active players entering the 2024 season, Cam Wards career total yardage of 14,140 at the FBS / FCS level far surpassed No.
2 Will Rogers (11,999), No.
3 Seth Henigan (11,483), No.
4 Grayson McCall (11,118) and No.
5 Shedeur Sanders (10,293).
Since 2020, Ward and former Auburn / Oregon QB Bo Nix (14,110) were the only players to have surpassed 14,000 yards of total offense (pass and rush).
Hes since added 385 yards vs.
UF, 302 yards vs FAMU, 346 yards vs Ball State, 404 yards vs USF, 343 yards vs Virginia Tech, and a season high 437 yards against Cal.
That brings him to 16,359 yards for his career with 6 regular season games remaining.
College Football Team Receiving Stats 2024 Team - 165 catches 2400 yds 21 tds Xavier Restrepo - 8th Nationally - 32 catches 585 yds 5 tds With 60 yards vs.
Virginia Tech, Restrepo moved past Phillip Dorsett (2,132) into ninth place all time.
Against Cal he passed No.
8 Travis Benjamin (2,146), No.
7 Mike Harley (2,158), No.
6 Leonard Hankerson (2,160), No.
5 Stacy Coley (2,218), and No.
4 Lamar Thomas (2,271) landing in the top-four in Miami history at (2,302).
Restrepo has 163 catches in his career and is now only 11 catches away from becoming the all time leader in receptions at Miami (current record is 173 by Reggie Wayne).
With his ninth career 100-yard performance, Restrepo passed Andre Johnson for the most games with 100 receiving yards by a Miami player since 2000.
Honorable mention Isaiah Horton - 51st Nationally - 31 catches 395 yards 3 tds Zay has drastically improved his production this season, and is quietly the teams second leading receiver.
He has made the most of his targets, and does well with his perimeter blocking.
Jacolby George - 136th Nationally - 21 catches 290 yds 3 tds Jacolby has underwhelmed in the first half of the season.
He's been hobbled with some minor injuries, but with this being his money year, I expected more explosive plays from him.
Im hopeful that he can kick it into high gear for the second half of the season, and really take over games.
Sam Brown - 190th Nationally - 21 catches 246 yds 1 tds Like Jacolby, Sam Brown has yet to really have a statement game and is prone to drops thus far.
Im looking forward to him putting it all together out there and showing what he's capable of.
College Football Team Rushing Stats 2024 Team - 196 rushes for 1103 yards 5.6 avg 16 tds True freshman RB Jordan Lyle has been a great addition to the running back room.
While Damien Martinez got all of the offseason hype, Lyle has quietly put together successful performances in each of the games hes played in.
He logged the longest run in UM History (91 yards) against USF earlier this season, and his pass protection is top notch.
He has a high football IQ and the staff is excited for his future here.
Mark has mad the most of his touches in a return from injury in the bowl game last season.
he runs hard and provides a spark to the offense when on the field.
I expect his touches to increase as he's been effective and efficient when in the game.
Although Cam is a dual threat quarterback, he doesn't really run much.
I love the fact that when he extends plays its with the pass in mind.
He doesnt look to run first, and thats not usually the case with running quarterbacks.
Although he's capable of scrambling, the less he has to run, the better for Miami..
