Alabama staffer reveals why he would go to war with CB Domani Jackson ‘any day’

Domani Jackson elevated his level of respect from his coaches and teammates last week.

The transfer cornerback from the University of Southern California had to be carted to the locker room in Alabamas matchup against South Carolina, but he did not let it keep him down.

Jackson, a California native, fought back to return to the game and made huge plays on Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Jackson watched his friend and fellow Mater Dei High School alum, Zabien Brown, seal the Georgia matchup with an interception.

He returned the favor versus the Gamecocks in the fourth quarter.

Jackson picked off LaNorris Sellers, his momentum carried him into the end zone, but he has the presence of mind to run the ball out and run out the clock.

He celebrated with his teammates after the takeaway as he helped the Crimson Tide escape with a narrow, 27-25 victory to improve to 5-1.

HaSean Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, a former All-American safety at Alabama, is on the coaching staff as a director of player development.

The former two-time BCS National Champion says he would go to war with Jackson any day.

Clinton-Dix shared a post on social media about how proud he was to see Jackson fight through an injury.

You talk about a player showing grit and mental toughness.

After getting an X-RAY from an injury earlier on in the game and coming back out to seal the game.

Ill take #1 any day.
