Tua Tagovailoa's Josh Allen admission doesn't sit well with Dolphins fans

Tua Tagovailoa's comments regarding Josh Allen before the Miami Dolphins' matchup with the Buffalo Bills left fans steaming, days after Tyreek Hill showed his frustration during the loss to the New England Patriots .
The Dolphins have struggled to start the 2025 NFL season, dropping their first two games against the Indianapolis Colts and the aforementioned Patriots.
Meanwhile, the Bills have won two straight to start the year, led by Allen , including a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, which many consider to be the game of the season.
Ahead of Tagovailoa's clash with Allen, the former spoke glowingly of his opponent.
Of note, Allen revealed he would be wearing new gear after sustaining a bloody nose in Buffalo's last matchup .
"Dude, he's top tier," Tagovailoa revealed to reporters Tuesday .
"You know, if it's not with his arm, it's with his legs.
You know, that dude can do literally anything he wants.
So definitely different skill set for me." Aside from praising Allen's dual-threat capability, the 27-year-old shared an admission that showcased just how different the two star quarterbacks' skillsets were ahead of their impending matchup.
"I can't do half of what he does when it comes to running the ball and any of that," Tagovailoa continued.
"And then with how he can just chuck a ball down the field, you know, with how far and the arm strength that he has, you know, he's supreme when it comes to that.
So it's going to be fun.
Get to see him, get to play him again.
And we'll see." Fans on social media were less than thrilled to see Tagovailoa openly praise Allen, especially to the extent that the Dolphins quarterback did.
"He went full honesty mode lol," a fan wrote on X.
"You can speak highly of someone without going into all that detail man." Another added a lengthy diatribe, posting: "So when your quarterback makes an admission like this..
Are we supposed to feel excited and hopeful? Im not saying we cant win on Sunday or that Tua isnt a good quarterback..
Although through 2 games of this season and all those turnovers thats debatable..
"But cmon man, thats a divisional opponent and rival and an opponent who stomps your head every time you face them..
Can you please show some passion, anger, or disdain for the opposing team and its players? Not saying disrespect them, but man..
Were reeling this year so far and we hate the bills..
And he gives a glowing commendation for the resume Allen has built playing football in the league..
Yes Josh Allen is a stud..
But f--- him and the entire bills organization.
Until we have a quarterback who hates to lose to them and hates them like we will..
Maybe we just wont win.
Clock is ticking Tua, you better win Thursday." Looking for more to watch? Peacock has hit shows, movies, live sports, and more.

On the other hand, Allen lauded the Dolphins' defense, claiming that Miami's unit is more capable than what the early returns of the 2025 season show.
"Well, I think they're, they're playing a lot better than maybe what their record shows," Allen told reporters Tuesday after the Bills practice.
"Their front over there is filled with a lot of guys that can get after the quarterback.
So we got to be on our P's and Q's and understand what they, what they're going to try to do to us.
"You know, they're, they're pretty unpredictable in terms of, you know, when and where they're blitzing.
So making sure that I'm seeing as much as I can, watching as much film as I can to try to pick up on cues and, and, and things.
And again, we know what type of offense they are and what they can be and what they've shown in the past.
"So again, just making sure we're taking care of the football, trying to end every drive and a kick." Of note, Allen is 13-2 against the Dolphins while Tagovailoa experienced the first 0-2 start in his career..
