Hell offer up insights every morning on Brad Underwoods team and college basketball at large: Eight players with prominent places on Illinois' recruiting board were invited to participate in the USA Basketball junior national team training camp Oct.

10-12 at the U.S.

Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The potential future Illini include Class of 2026 prospects Cameron Holmes, Dylan Mingo and Adam Oumiddoch, Class of 2027 recruits Devin Cleveland, Jaxson Davis, Jaylan Mitchell and Davion Thompson and Class of 2028 star Brady Pettigrew.

Holmes, Davis and Pettigrew visited Illinois this past weekend.

The athletes in attendance will participate in on-court skill development and competitive scrimmages in addition to life skills sessions led by staff from USA Basketball, NBA Player Development and the NCAA.

The life skills sessions feature media training, NCAA rules and eligibility education, mental health and wellbeing guidance, and financial management guidance.

USA Basketball Mens Junior National Team is excited to host the October minicamp as we continue to support elite players in reaching their full potential, said Sean Ford, USA Basketball Mens National Team director and committee chair.

Our goal is to work closely with athletes and parents to help them successfully navigate the pathway as their careers progress.

We look forward to welcoming back our returning athletes as well as several first-time participants..
