Texas A&M basketball head coach Bucky McMillan will embark on his inaugural 2025-2026 season in less than two months, but has continued to make gains on the recruiting trail, looking to land at least two or three prospects in the talented 2026 recruiting class.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that McMillan and his staff will host one of the top guard prospects in the cycle this weekend. While Texas A&M football will be taking on No.
8 Notre Dame on the road this Saturday night, McMillan will host 2026 four-star combo guard Neiko Mundey this weekend, as the Maryland native has already visiting Pittsburgh, and will reportedly take trips to Oklahoma State (Sept.

Interestingly enough, Texas A&M will face Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh and Mississippi State this season, which could impact Mundrey's decision.During his junior season at Prince George's Christian Academy, Mundey averaged an impressive 21 points, 1-8, steals, and two assists per game, while shooting 44% from the field, 40% from 3-point range, and 73% from the free throw line.

While McMillan has yet to land a commitment in the 2026 cycle, getting Mundey on campus is the first step towards making a lasting impression.
According to 247Sports, Mundey is currently positioned as the 44th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 7th-ranked combo guard, and the 3rd-ranked prospect in Maryland.
