Sidney Crosby has found his name trending in trade rumors once again.

On Tuesday, the 10-time NHL All-Star shot down speculations regarding a trade away from the Pittsburgh Penguins following another poor season.

The Penguins had a disappointing time during the 2024-25 season.

The 5-time Stanley Cup champions finished 7th in the Metropolitan Division with a 34-36-12 record and collected 80 points.

Their poor performances led to the team management parting ways with head coach Mike Sullivan .

At the age of 37, Crosby was the top scorer for his team with 91 points (33 goals and 58 assists) from 80 games.

Now 38, the Penguins captain will begin his 2-year contract extension that he signed last September.

In the midst of the teams slump, General Manager Kyle Dubas issued a warning that every player on the team was open to trade except Crosby.
