Clemson basketball 2025-26 ACC schedule dates announced. Here's what to know

The ACC announced most dates for the 2025-26 men's college basketball season on Tuesday.

The Clemson Tigers will open conference play against the Syracuse Orange on either Dec.

30 or 31, followed by a trip to Pittsburgh on Saturday, Jan.

The Tigers' home opener at Littlejohn Coliseum will be the following week against the SMU Mustangs on Jan.

6 or 7.Clemson basketball will close the regular season at home against Georgia Tech on March 7 before the start of the ACC Tournament.

The top 15 teams in the conference standings will compete in the tournament, scheduled for March 10-14 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte.Back in May, the ACC announced conference schedules for all 18 teams.

Clemson has home-and-away games against both Georgia Tech and Pitt.

In addition to their home opener against SMU, the Tigers also have home games against Boston College, Miami, NC State, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Louisville.Clemson's games against Boston College, Miami and NC State are part of three consecutive home dates in mid-to-late January.

The Tigers will travel to Notre Dame, Duke, Wake Forest and North Carolina, as well as make their first road trips to Stanford and California in conference play.

Start times and TV destinations will be announced later.Coach Brad Brownell is entering his 16th season as Clemson coach.

The Tigers finished 27-7 overall and 18-2 in ACC regular season play in 2024-25, earning a No.

5 seed in the NCAA Tournament before falling to McNeese State in a first-round upset.

The Tigers set a program record for most wins in a regular season and in ACC play.

They were ranked No.

23 in the final USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.

Clemson's nonconference schedule was finalized in August.

The Tigers open the season on Nov.

3 against New Hampshire at Littlejohn Coliseum.

They'll face Alabama in this year's ACC-SEC Challenge on Dec.

3 in Tuscaloosa.
