Las Vegas Bowl Huddle to Celebrate Local Educators During Extra Yard for Teachers Week

Football season is back! And that means the Las Vegas Bowl Huddle will again be participating across the Valley supporting the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFP) Extra Yard for Teachers (EYFT) program.In all, The Las Vegas Bowl Huddle during the last four years has awarded more than $140,000 to teachers in Southern Nevada in support of projects promoting physical fitness, leadership and the arts, and will distribute another $40,000 this year.The 2025 Huddle will kick off 2025 Extra Yard For Teachers Week with the following local activations:Tuesday 9/16 10:35 am B.

Mahlon Brown Academy $1,000 project grant, supplies, lunchTuesday 9/16 TBD 18 schools across Valley school supplies, treats for staffTuesday 9/18 8:10 am Heckethorn Elementary $1,000 project grant, supplies, lunchIn addition, the grant application period for this years awards will run from September 13-November 1.Grant winners will receive funding for their proposed project and will be recognized at the 2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on December 31 at Allegiant Stadium.

All public school educators in Clark County, Nevada, are eligible to apply.
