Kentucky opens as overwhelming favorite against Eastern Michigan

It may not have felt great leaving Kroger Field on Saturday, but odds are good fans will be doing just fine next time around when Kentucky hosts Eastern Michigan.
Coming off the disappointing 30-23 loss to Ole Miss, oddsmakers still have the Wildcats sitting pretty against the Eagles, opening as massive favorites against the MAC competition.
Whats the potential damage, hopefully inflicted by the blue and white? Our friends at BetMGM list Kentucky as 25.5-point favorites against Eastern Michigan with the point total set at 46.5.
The Wildcats were two-score underdogs against the Rebels, the line sitting at +9.5 this time last Sunday and the point total set at 52.5.
UK would ultimately cover that spread with the over hitting by a hair at 53 points scored.
Eastern Michigan is 0-2 on the year with early losses to Texas State (52-27) and Long Island (28-23).
The Eagles were picked to finish eighth in the MAC with the Wildcats already defeating the projected winner of the conference, Toledo, 24-16 in the home opener.
Noah Kim is the teams starting quarterback, throwing for 437 yards and three touchdowns through two games.
Dontae McMillan has rushed for 136 yards and a score, followed by Tavierre Dunlap with 59 yards and a score.
Terry Lockett Jr.
leads the receiving room with 140 yards on 13 catches, followed by McMillan with 68 yards and a score through the air on four receptions.
The defense has been problematic, however, allowing 606 total yards and 392 on the ground in the opener, followed by 479 total and 231 on the ground in game two.
