He was then removed from the game in the seventh inning.

He was hopeful to return to the lineup after just taking a few days off, but that will not be the case.

Tucker was transferred to the injured list on Tuesday ahead of their game with the Braves.

Manager Craig Counsell spoke on the uncertainty, via MLB.com's Jordan Bastian .

"At this point, I don't know," Counsell said.

"I'm hopeful, but I think I was wrong in terms of avoiding the IL.

We just have to get to a point where he's not symptomatic and not feeling it doing baseball activities." The Cubs will reevaluate Tucker when he gets closer to his return date.

If they see that he is symptom-free and the injury is not bothering him during baseball activities, you can expect him to be out there..
