Boston Celtics give Joe Mazzulla multi-year contract extension

As we approach the 2025-26 NBA season, Joe Mazzulla will be entering his fourth year as the Boston Celtics head coach.
Since taking over from Ime Udoka, Mazzulla has implemented a clear style of play, primarily based on the perimeter with solid screening actions to create high-quality shooting opportunities.
His methods led to an NBA championship in 2024.However, this season will be different.
Mazzulla will be tested in new ways as he leads a retooling roster without the injured Jayson Tatum.
Therefore, we will likely see a different side to Mazzulla's coaching ability and how he approaches games.
Despite the new challenge, Mazzulla received a vote of confidence from Brad Stevens and the Celtics front office, as he recently inked a multi-year contract extension.During a recent episode of the "Locked On Sports Today" podcast, John Karalis provided some insight into Mazzulla's contract extension and what that means for the franchise moving forward. You can watch the full episode by clicking on the embedded video above.Watch or listen to the "Celtics Chronicle" podcast on:YouTube: https://bit.ly/3QnlPcSSpotify: https://bit.ly/40JRevfApple: https://apple.co/45sAUBGThis article originally appeared on Celtics Wire: Celtics give Joe Mazzulla multi-year contract extension.
