Week 1 of the college football season is here, and that means it's time for the weekly tradition of flipping between TV channels to watch the top games from across the country.
For Big 12 football fans, there's a new channel to add to their favorites.
As part of a six-year deal between Warner Bros.
Discovery and ESPN, TNT Sports will air 13 Big 12 football games each season, beginning in 2025.
Per a November 2024 release from Warner Bros., the agreement "builds on TNT Sports agreement with ESPN to present the College Football Playoff with TNT showcasing a pair of first-round games beginning this December." The agreement is part of a larger deal between Warner Bros., ESPN and the NBA in which Warner Bros.
sued the NBA for granting future rights to ESPN, Amazon and NBC.
The first Big 12 football game on TNT will be Hawai'i at Arizona for a 10:30 p.m.
ET kickoff.

Long will serve as the play-by-play announcer and Mike Golic, Jr.
will be the color analyst, while Allie LaForce and Coy Wire will split sideline reporting duties.

In addition to carrying Big 12 football games this season, TNT Sports will once again be the home to two first-round College Football Playoff games later this season.
TNT Sports and ESPN signed a five-year contract ahead of the 2024 college football season that gave the former sublicense rights for the CFP, as ESPN owns the full rights to the event.
