Updated SEC football recruiting rankings after Tennessee's recent surge

The Georgia Bulldogs have the best recruiting class in the SEC and the nation.
Georgia regularly signs a top-three recruiting class during the Kirby Smart era, so it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs have an excellent class of 2026.
Georgia tends to rely on developing recruits instead of adding players via the transfer portal, but other SEC schools have different philosophies.
For example, Ole Miss and Auburn prefer to boost their roster via the transfer portal instead of traditional recruiting.
No matter how you slice it, there's no better conference at acquiring talent than the SEC, which has five of the nation's top 10 recruiting classes.
Georgia (No.

4), Texas A&M (No.

6) and Tennessee (No.
8) all have top 10 recruiting classes.Georgia is contenders to finish with the top recruiting class in the country.

Things will get more interesting with the class of 2026 when we get closer to the early signing period in December.
