miserably.Thursday night marked the end of exhibition play for the team, as they closed up with a 19-10 defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering similar (and painful) fates at the hands of the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.But we all know that the preseason isn't really judged based off records.

The meat and potatoes, rather, are in the individual performances.So, let's take a look at Pro Football Focus' highest- and lowest-graded Panthers from the 2025 preseason.*Players listed accumulated at least 20 offensive or defensive snaps.Best of the offense1.

QB Bryce Perkins: 79.52.

LT Ikem Ekwonu: 77.63.

RB Emani Bailey: 73.94.

Luther: 73.45.

QB Bryce Young: 72.8Despite taking three sacks in his one and only appearance this summer, Perkins was rather efficientcompleting 10 of his 11 passes for 71 yards in the finale.

The other Bryceyes, the starting quarterbackconnected on four of his eight attempts for 58 yards and a touchdown over four total drives.Ekwonu allowed one pressure (a hurry) on 11 pass-blocking opportunities.

He also earned a 84.3 grade run-blocking grade, the highest amongst all Carolina offensive linemen.Worst of the offense33.

OT Yosh Nijman: 47.934.

OL Brandon Walton: 43.135.

G Chandler Zavala: 41.136.

OT Michael Tarquin: 39.537.

QB Jack Plummer: 35.1Plummer wasn't nearly as clean as the Bryces.

He averaged 5.5 yards per attempt while throwing for one score and three interceptions.Tarquin was charged with a team-high eight pressures.

Walton was right behind him with seven.Best of the defense1.

DL Bobby Brown III: 89.52.

S Lathan Ransom: 83.93.

DL Sam Roberts: 74.94.

CB Mike Reid: 73.55.

CB JaTravis Broughton: 71.9Brown's six pressures were the second-most for the defense.

He was given a 90.4 pass-rushing grade.Ransom, who tallied Carolina's only interception of the preseason, earned a 78.6 in run defense and a 76.9 in coverage.Worst of the defense31.

DL Cam Jackson: 48.832.

S Isaac Gifford: 42.633.

CB Tre Swilling: 40.234.

DL Tershawn Wharton: 37.035.

ILB Bam Martin-Scott: 36.2Wharton was saddled with a team-low 22.9 tackling grade.
