The Seattle Seahawks concluded the 2025 NFL preseason with an ugly 20-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

In a game where Seattle rested their starters and plenty of their backups, the Seahawks third-stringers struggled against the Packers at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay opened the game, but their first drive ended in disaster as Seahawks safety Ty Okada snagged himself a one-handed interception.

Unfortunately for Seattle, that is almost where their first half highlights ended.

The Seahawks found themselves down 10-0 after the first quarter following Jalen Milroe's first fumble of the first half.

Later, Milroe lost control of the ball again after converting on 4th-and-1.

Eight plays later, Green Bay extended their lead to 17-0.Seattle almost got back into it in the first half on their next possession.

On their first play, running back Jacardia Wright exploded for a 61-yard gain and made it all the way to the Packers' 4-yard line.

Sadly, the Seahawks had a disastrous string of events.

Back to back runs for no gains gave way to a touchdown run by Milroe...

that was called back due to holding.

Milroe found Jake Bobo for a 12-yard gain to get back to the 4-yard line, but on 4th down his pass fell incomplete.Seattle ended the first half with 132 total yards, three first downs, 0-for-6 on third down, and three turnovers (Jake Bobo had a fumble on a punt return that injured himself and Tyler Hall).

The third quarter was not much better for the Seahawks, or the Packers for that matter.

Both teams exchanged five total punts.

But in the fourth, Seattle finally found their way on the board.

Milroe engineered a five-play, 62-yard touchdown drive as he found wide receiver Cody White for the first score of his career at the NFL level.

The Seahawks were able to cut into Green Bay's lead to make it a 20-7 game with 11:59 left in the fourth quarter.

However, Seattle was not able to build on the tiny bit of momentum captured. There was one final opportunity late to get points on the board to make it a more respectable final score, or perhaps even attempt an improbable comeback.

On first down following the two minute warning, Milroe fumbled a third time on a botched snap and the Packers once again recovered.

Green Bay then kneeled it out to secure the victory.

The Seahawks finished their preseason finale with 253 yards, 9 first downs, held the ball for 24:17 time of possession and converted on only 2-of-13 third down attempts.

Next up for the Seahawks: finalizing the last roster cuts and preparing for the Week 1 season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
