Emotional LeBron and Savannah James break down in tears after opening up on son Bronny’s near death cardiac arrest

LEBRON James and wife Savannah were both moved to tears in a new documentary about their son's health ordeal.

NBA icon James , 39, and his partner starred in a Netflix documentary called Starting 5.

The new show landed on October 9 and followed selected basketball stars through the 2023-24 season.

One of those was Lakers superstar James - who dealt with a health scare for son Bronny , 20.

Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest while playing at college with USC.

The Netflix clip showed LeBron introducing a medical professional called Erin to his mother Gloria.

An emotional LeBron said, They are the reason Bronny is alive now and smiling and thriving and doing what any 19-year old should be doing and thats living out their dream.

Its crazy with kids, like when they love something and want something thats all that matters to them.

"As a parent, youre like, you know, You had a cardiac arrest.

Bronny made a return to the court but his USC season was cut short.

He entered the NBA Draft and was selected in the second round by the Lakers this summer.

The father and son duo stepped on the court together at the weekend in a preseason game , realizing one of LeBron's dreams of playing with Bronny.

LeBron and Bronny both played in the Lakers' loss to the Phoenix Suns this weekend.

LeBron explained, "We came out of a timeout and we kind of stood next to each other.

I kind of looked at him.

"It was like being in The Matrix or something.

"It just didn't feel real.
