49ers to wear updated black uniform as part of NFL’s Rivalries series

The 49ers unveiled a new look on Thursday morning with a week to go before the NFL opens its season.They are back in black.As part of the leagues Rivalries initiative in partnership with Nike, teams in the NFC West and AFC East will have alternate uniforms to wear against a divisional opponent in 2025.The Niners version is a black jersey with a new black helmet, black pants and other accents to make it different from their traditional format for their red-and-white jerseys.
