At his press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles announced that fifth-round draft pick Zah Frazier would miss the entire 2025 season.

Poles called placing him on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list a complicated deal but didnt elaborate on why Frazier missed all of training camp.

He had a situation that presented itself in a category that I would say [is] personal, he said.

As we dug into it to try and help him out, it revealed itself as something that happened before he got here.

Credit to our staff for finding the root cause of what he was going through.

Hell be down for the year, but hell spend the time going to meetings, in the weight room, and with medical staff, preparing for next season to get ready to play.

Kind of a bummer on the front end, but I think because of everyones hard work and care here, we got him on the right path.Frazier was a late bloomer in college, and hell turn 25 in October, but his height (63), length (80 18 wingspan), and speed (4.36 forty) made him an intriguing prospect.

Hes the only draft pick who didnt make Chicagos 53-man roster, but hell get to spend the year getting support from the franchise while getting his mind and body right for the 2026 season..
