Court rules Brian Flores' lawsuit against Broncos (and others) can go to trial

A ruling by Judge Valerie Caproni has been upheld by the 2nd U.S.
Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, clearing the way for a Brian Flores lawsuit against the NFL and three teams to go to trial.
The NFL wanted commissioner Roger Goodell to serve as arbitrator between Flores and the league, but this ruling will allow Flores to proceed with his lawsuit against the NFL, the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants and the Houston Texans.Flores originally filed the lawsuit in 2022, accusing the NFL of racism in hiring.
The lawsuit named the Broncos after Flores alleged they interviewed him for their head coach opening in 2021 "only because of the Rooney Rule." Denver denied those allegations in 2022, calling them "blatantly false."Despite the ongoing lawsuit, the Broncos put in a request to interview Flores for their defensive coordinator position in 2023.
Flores ended up joining the Minnesota Vikings instead, and he's still employed by Minnesota as their DC.
