Where will the Boston Celtics end up in the NBA's Eastern Conference standings at the end of the 2025-26 regular season? The Celtics have taken a clear step back in a season they will be without star forward Jayson Tatum due to an Achilles tendon tear, putting them behind the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks in projections of the wins and loss totals of the East next season. But after the Knicks and the Cavs, where Boston ends up gets fuzzier.
The best case scenario could have them playing better than the Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, Detroit Piston sand maybe even the Orlando Magic.
But there is a real chance the Celtics end up in the same general range as the Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets, and even Washington Wizards by the end of the coming campaign. The hosts of the CLNS Media "The Big Three NBA" podcast, A.
Sherrod Blakely, Gary Washburn, and Kwani Lunis, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over.
