NCAA BASKETBALL: Siena men picked to finish ninth in conference preseason poll

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.

The Siena Mens Basketball newcomer was named a Preseason Second Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MMAC) at the annual, conference tip-off event, held at the Ocean Casino Resort, in Atlantic City.

As a team, the Saints were projected to finish ninth according to the 13 MAAC coaches.

Freeman matriculated to Siena this spring after starring for the past two seasons at Spartanburg Methodist Junior College, in South Carolina.

The 6-3, 190-pound product of Atlanta was named the MAAC Preseason Newcomer of the Year by Mid-Major Madness last month and [...].
