ECHL: Reilly Webb Returns to South Carolina Blue Line

The South Carolina Stingrays have locked in a major piece of their defense for the upcoming season, bringing back 26-year-old blueliner Reilly Webb.
Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 201 pounds, Webb brings size, reach, and an edge that opponents cant ignore.
A Strong First Season Webb joined the Stingrays last October in a trade from the Bloomington Bison and quickly became one of the teams most dependable defensemen.
In 68 games, he registered 12 points (3G, 9A) and a +28 ratingtied for sixth-best among ECHL defensemen.
His impact carried into the playoffs, where he added three assists in seven games.
Head Coach Dave Warsofsky praised Webbs presence on and off the ice: Reilly is a cornerstone of our defense.
He shows up to the rink every day with a great attitude and leads by example.
He puts his body on the line every night and does whatever it takes to win (South Carolina Stingrays, 2025).
OHL and University Career Before turning pro, the Stoney Creek, Ontario native spent four seasons at Acadia University, where he served as an assistant captain in 2023-24.
Across 74 USports games, he posted 16 points and 119 penalty minutes, playing a physical, team-first style.
His junior career spanned nearly 200 games in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit and Hamilton Bulldogs, earning a selection by the Detroit Red Wings in the sixth round (#164 overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
Impact Beyond the Ice Last season, Webb played a key role in the Players With a Purpose initiative, raising funds for Be The Change Charlestona local organization supporting individuals with disabilities.
His commitment to the community is something he says motivates him heading into the new season: The fan base and community is super strong.
I look forward to an exciting year! (Stingrays Hockey, 2025).
Looking Ahead Reilly Webb will enter his second professional season alongside returning defensemen Romain Rodzinski and Connor Moore, forming a core group on the back end as South Carolina prepares for another run in 2025-26..
