Patrik Laine has a very bright future ahead of him in the NHL, but in a recent interview he reveals that he almost quit the NHL last season.

Last off-season, the Montreal Canadiens acquired Patrik Laine from the Columbus Blue Jackets in the hopes that he could blend with their impressive young core and bring a much needed goal scoring punch to this squad.

In his first pre-season with the team, Laine suffered a knee injury that kept him out of action for a few months, but ultimately, he found his way back to the team and proved to be a valuable weapon to this forward group.
