Milwaukee Brewers React to Crew’s Historic News on Wednesday — ‘Darn right it’s serious’

The Milwaukee Brewers are soaring right now .

They are feeling it, and its showing up in the way they play and dominate games.

After beating the Atlanta Braves, 5-4, to complete a series sweep on Wednesday on the road, the Brewers became the first team to win 70 games in the 2025 MLB regular season.

On top of that, the Brewers also set a new franchise record for the fewest games played in a season to hit that mark, as pointed out by Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.

Wrote McCalvy : The Brewers have 70 victories in the books in 114 games, fastest in franchise history.

It took the 2021 club 119 games.

The 2011 and 1982 clubs, 121 games.

In 2018, 127 games.

This is getting serious.

The Brewers social media team saw that post and used it to flex their incredible feat.

Darn right its serious, read the caption of the Brewers post that features McCalvys tweet over a photo of Trevor Megill, who recorded his 26th save of the season by closing the door on the Braves.

The Brewers started that stretch with a 16-9 blowout of the series against the Washington Nationals in DC before thumping the Nats in the second game, 8-2.

They closed out the series with a 14-3 demolition of Washington.

In the Atlanta series, the Brewers outscored Atlanta, 15-7.
