Jets coach has five-word response to Justin Fields concern

The New York Jets offense is not humming as smoothly as they'd like in the post-Aaron Rodgers era.

Per Connor Hughes of SNY TV, quarterback Justin Fields has gone cold in recent practices, completing just 15-of-43 passing attempts during the last three practices.

Glenn claimed he wasn't concerned about what he's seen at practice early in August.

"I dont because its early," Glenn said.

Like when Fields started early in the season for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024, the Jets are going to have to rely on their rushing attack with Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

Because Fields is dangerous out of the backfield, he gives New York an advantage in the running game.

Even with extra reps as the first-team quarterback in training camp this summer, Fields hasn't emerged as a consistent passer.

But if he can manage games and not turn the ball over like he did last season in leading Pittsburgh to a 4-2 record (five touchdown passes to one interception), he'll give the Jets defense a chance to win games this season.
