On every NBA draft night, the stage is set, and the flashing lights come up, accompanied by the entrance of NBA commissioner , who oversees many young prospects with keen anticipation, waiting for their names to be called out.
You cannot miss the smiles that follow after that, but it begs the question of whether those smiles are from a player willing to play the game for the love of it or just waiting to sign that rookie contract.
