We begin our top ten moments for Knoxville High School athletes this past school\ year with #10.

While the win/loss records was not what anyone wanted for the Panthers girls basketball program in 2024/2025, one night it all came together in Eldon, especially for one player.

On January 17th Hannah Dunkin became just the 6th girl in Knoxville history and 9th overall player to join the 1,000 point club.

She did that early in the 2nd half in a 72-41 Knoxville win over Cardinal.

But Dunkin was not done as she nearly outscored the Comets herself by breaking a long standing record for most points in a single game when.

she scored her 40th late in the game.

Dunkin broke the record held at the time by Tracy Flowers, who had 39 points in a game in 1996.

Dunkin plans to continue her basketball career at Central College in the fall.
