College basketball analyst John Rothstein said the Butler Bulldogs will be the sleeper team of the Big East.

This was off the report Rothstein did on Butlers point guard situation.

Last year, the Bulldogs made the NIT, and were a first round exit.

They were 18-15, and eighth in the Big East.

This year, they lost their starting center Jalen Thomas, who graduated in May.

However, they did add players as well.

Through transfers, they got Jamie Kaiser from Maryland, Kolby King from Tulane, and Pat McCaffery from Missouri.

They also have incoming freshmen in Colt Langdon, Connor OGuinn, Ryder Cate, and Evan Haywood.

Their recruiting is also 15th in the nation.

They got a four star Azavier Robinson, and three stars Jackson Keith, and Pats little brother, Jack McCaffery.

They also had their best scorers return in Jahmyl Telfort, and Pierre Brooks II.

The team is looking like it will be a dark horse to be a top team in the Big East, and maybe even a March Madness contender..
