The New England Patriots signed former Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets center Alec Lindstrom on Wednesday, via Pro Football Network's James Larsen.

Lindstrom was spotted on the field at training camp on Wednesday morning.

This move comes after veteran center Garrett Bradbury was seen limping off the field near the end of Tuesday's practice.

There has been no word on the severity of his injury, but he did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Lindstrom is a Massachusetts native who played college football at Boston College.

He landed on the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad after going undrafted in 2022.

He'd eventually go on to find a spot on UFL's Memphis Showboats, where he was one of the league's best centers last season.Alec Lindstrom was one of the #UFL's top centers this past season.

Put a lot of good film on tape.

Anchored that Memphis O-Line all year long. For a second straight year following his UFL campaign, he's back in the NFL - this time with the #Patriots.

They also have the option of slotting rookie Jared Wilson at the position, but he is beginning to look like the top option at left guard.

Lindstrom should fit right into the mix at center if Bradbury is expected to miss time.
