2026 MLB Draft Rankings: Top 200 High School Prospects To Know

Now that the 2025 MLB Draft is over, BA presents our updated ranking of the top 200 high school players in the 2026 class.You can see the new 2026 high school draft rankings here.The 2026 class is the best group of prep prospects since 2023, blending both high-end, impact talent with depth.

The top two players in the class are a pair of shortstops in Grady Emerson (Texas commit) and Jacob Lombard, who is uncommitted.

Both players look like potential early first-round picks.Considering that four of the top five players in our 2025 high school rankings from this time last year were first-round picks and 11 of the top 15 were day-one picks, this years early crop of players bears watching.Check out complete list of high school draft prospects above, featuring scouting reports for all 200 players and college commitments.
