City connect jerseys were a movement by NFL teams to unveil new alternate jerseys that are inspired by a city's history.

It's a welcome nod to the fans as well as city they call home.

While MLB has unveiled a city connect jersey for every team, the NFL is slowly rolling out their city jerseys.

The Houston Texans created their "H-Town" jerseys as a blend between a city connect jersey and a color rush uniform.

The city connect, color rush uniform combo is a nod to the history of not only football in Houston, but of the Texans' history.

It utilizes a blend of the colors from the old Houston Oilers uniform mixed with the deeper blue and logo of the new Texans logo.
