NC State quarterback Grayson McCall suffered a frightening injury during Saturdays game after taking a huge hit.

McCall took an enormous hit while scrambling in the first quarter against Wake Forest.

The quarterback was hit so hard, his helmet came off immediately, and he laid motionless on the field while teammates signaled for help.

He had movement in his extremities and was able to move his arms and acknowledge the crowd as he was carted off.

Through three games this year, he had completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 476 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
